Suturing and Skin Biopsy Workshop

Participants in this hands-on workshop will learn critical suturing and skin biopsy techniques. Indications and techniques for performing shave, punch and elliptical excisional biopsies are presented. All biopsy techniques are practiced on suitable models with real instruments. Suturing techniques emphasized include simple interrupted sutures, deep buried sutures and running sutures. All suturing techniques are practiced on pig’s feet with hands-on faculty teaching.
