Clam Pass Beach Park

Naples is home to a number of white sand beaches. A popular beach in Naples, Florida is Clam Pass Beach Park. Take a walk along the half-mile Clam Pass boardwalk or go on a guided nature walk. Beach chairs and other beach gear is available for rent at the park. Beach parking is $8 per car.

In addition to the number of beaches within the Naples city limits, Naples is also driving distance to the Everglades National Park and Ten Thousand Islands National Wildlife Refuge, among other nationally protected land reserves. The Everglades is the “largest subtropical wilderness” reserve in the United States.

Caribbean Gardens

The Everglades are home to some endangered species, such as the American crocodile. The Ten Thousand Islands National Wildlife Refuge includes 35,000 acres of mangrove forest and is a safe haven for many endangered species as well.

For families, the Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens is a popular destination. Visitors can see 70 species of animals on display. The Zoo is open every day of the week, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with ticket prices ranging from $22.95 for adults to $14.95 for children ages 3 to 12.
