Since 1961, Daytona International Speedway has held legendary 500-mile stock car races. The track is 2.5 miles long, and a 500-mile race requires 200 laps. The winners of the Daytona 500 race are racing royalty and recognized as the sport’s elite competitors in the world.
This racing venue has become an iconic symbol of the sport of racing and is a historic landmark. Daytona Speedway offers tours to the public to experience what life on the track is like. There are 3 different tours to choose from: the Speedway Tour, All-Access Tour, and the VIP tour. It is important to review the tour calendar on their website before planning a visit. Each tour varies in times and length, with the Speedway Tour at 30 minutes, All-Access Tours 90 minutes, and the VIP Tour is 3 full hours of previewing the life made for champions. It is important to understand that these tours are all first to come first serve and availability is limited. Reservations are encouraged and arriving early is advised as ticket sales close promptly, at least 5 minutes before the tour begins.
