Charleston Gaillard Center (Conference Location)
The Charleston Gaillard Center is named for J. Palmer Gaillard, the mayor of Charleston from 1959 until 1975, when he was appointed U.S. Deputy Secretary of the Navy for Reserve Affairs. While it originally opened as the Gaillard Municipal Auditorium in July of 1968, construction of the new Charleston Gaillard Center began in 2012 and was completed in October of 2015. The new Gaillard Center features the 1,800-seat Martha and John M. Rivers Performance Hall, a 15,000-square foot Exhibition Hall, and three floors of City offices.
The Charleston Gaillard Center is located at 95 Calhoun Street, Charleston, South Carolina 29401. The building sits on Calhoun Street between Anson Street and Alexander Street.

Room Deposit/Cancellation/Early Departure:
A deposit equal to one night’s stay is required to hold each individual’s reservation. Such deposit shall serve to confirm the reservation for the date(s) indicated, and upon check-in, shall be applied to the final night of the reserved stay. The hotel may place a hold or process a prepayment in the amount of the guest’s estimated charges. Cancellation must be received 48 hours before 3 pm on guest’s check-date, then Hotel may charge the credit card one night’s room fee plus any applicable taxes.
Parking:
Valet parking is provided at $37 + taxes per day. (Subject to change)

Check-in at 4 pm and Check-out at 11 am.
The group discounted room rate deadline for reservations is June 1, 2023 at 5 pm EST; however rooms are limited (first-come, first-served basis) and may be sold out before this date. This deposit is refundable if notice is received at least one (1) week prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained. All deposits may be charged at the time the reservation is made. After check-in, any individual attendee departing prior to their departure date will be charged an early departure fee of 50% of the room rate plus sale tax. Please verify your departure dates at check-in and make any adjustments.
Parking:
Hotel parking is available at the City of Charleston owned parking garage adjacent to the Hotel. The prevailing rates is currently $20 for self-parking and $28 for valet parking per day plus tax.
