New Orleans, known as the Big Easy, is a city in the south with European traditions and Haitian and Caribbean influences. The fascinating historic architectures of the building and homes are exquisite, from the mottled old buildings to the colorful exteriors of homes, each telling its own story and history. The wrought iron balconies wind across the edges of the buildings in the French Quarter, giving the feel of the Old World with beautiful cascading flowers and ferns and discreet sub-tropical courtyards.
There are many great ways to enjoy everything that New Orleans has to offer. From the Jazz music you can hear walking down the streets, the amazing local art, taking a ride on the St. Charles Avenue streetcar, enjoying the delicious creole foods, taking a ride on the Paddlewheeler Creole Queen along the Mississippi River, to the night life on Bourbon Street.
