Washington Oaks Garden State Park

Washington Oaks Garden State Park is the perfect setting if you’re looking to appreciate some majestic wildlife, flora, and fauna.

These gardens are also steeped in history as they are a location where Native Americans ventured to hunt, gather, and fish long before European invaders reached their shores. Amongst the shrubbery, you can also find a rose garden that is thought to have been formed from mounds of oyster shells and other things that were left behind by the Native American people.
