Program Overview
This CME activity is comprised of recordings from the 3rd Annual Gastroenterology & Liver Conference that took place in Bonita Springs, FL on January 15 – 17, 2023. This CME is designed to update primary care clinicians involved in the treatment of patients at risk of gastrointestinal disorders. It has become clinically important and economically prudent for primary care physicians to become familiar with the management of these disorders and perhaps most importantly when to consult a gastroenterologist. This program will address these evolving needs, providing the primary care provider with effective evidence-based diagnostic, therapeutic, and referral strategies for common gastrointestinal and liver related disorders. The format of this course is streaming-only (video recordings are not downloadable).
Learning Objectives:
As a result of this educational activity, participants should be better able to:
- Assess and provide patients with an accurate diagnosis and optimal care for a broad range of gastrointestinal disorders seen in primary care.
- Integrate evidence-based strategies and recent guidelines for screening, prevention, and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders and their comorbidities in clinical practice.
- Formulate comprehensive evidence-based interventions and treatment strategies for gastrointestinal disorders that will lead to the reduction of modifiable risk factors and improved long-term outcomes.
Post-Test and Evaluation:
After completing the CME activity, you must successfully complete a post-test and fill out a program evaluation form. You will then be able to view and print your CME certificate. Login into CME365 to view your transcript and reprint your certificate at any time.
