This course features 14 sessions designed to clarify, review, and augment the training and understanding of primary care clinicians in the interpretation of urinalysis results. Topics include Urine Collection Methods, Heme, Leukocyte Esterase, Nitrite, Protein, pH, Glucose and Ketones in Urine, Bilirubin, Urobilinogen, and Specific Gravity, Urine Electrolytes, Transtubular Potassium Gradient (TTKG), Urinary Anion Gap, Urine Findings in Common Conditions, Gross Assessment, Urine Crystals, Casts, Waxy Casts, WBCs, Gram Stained Bacteria, RBCs, and Epithelial & Squamous Cells.
