Farmers markets are open to the public every Saturday during the summer as well. Marion Square has a rich history; it once was part of The Citadel grounds from 1843 until 1922.

4. Ben Ham Images

Art galleries are prevalent on King Street. Ben Ham Images is located on Upper King Street and features inspiring work from this renowned photographer. Not only does the space host brilliant artwork, but it also showcases the historic architecture from the early 1800s, as is seen in many buildings up and down King Street.

5. Window Shopping

From Brooks Brothers to designer Cynthia Rowley, King Street offers a wide variety of shopping for any of your needs. Maybe you will be interested in visiting locally-owned Simply J Boutique to take a peek at one-of-a-kind looks, or maybe it’s checking out M.P. Demetre Jewelers, a top destination for watch lovers.
