Need CME Accreditation Support? We Can Help.
Continuing Education Company (CEC) helps organizations deliver accredited Continuing Medical Education (CME) without the burden of becoming accredited themselves. Through our Joint Providership Program, we work with non-accredited partners to create and manage CME activities that fully meet ACCME accreditation standards.
Whether you're planning a live event, webinar, or enduring material, our experienced team handles the compliance details—so you can focus on providing high-quality, evidence-based education.
Joint Providership
Joint providership is when a non-accredited entity works with an organization that is accredited to put on an educational activity; or several accredited providers work together to offer a CME activity. CEC conducts a limited number of joint provided CME activities offering AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. CEC considers activities where the:
-
CME activity is consistent with our mission
-
Organization is not an accredited CME provider
-
Organization is not an ineligible company (as defined by the ACCME*)
*Companies that are ineligible to be accredited in the ACCME System (ineligible companies) are those whose primary business is producing, marketing, selling, re-selling, or distributing healthcare products used by or on patients.
Process and Fees
Our accreditation team partners with you to make the joint providership process as simple as possible. Interested parties should submit joint providership inquiries to cmeservices@cmemeeting.org Include the name of your organization, the activity title, the proposed dates, format, and your contact information.
Notification of the fees is made after CEC reviews the activity details. Joint providership fees are calculated based on the following review criteria:
